Not much to tell, really.

By day, I crunch numbers. By night, I crunch words. And, when the mood is upon me, I play drums and guitar (not usually at the same time).

Currently based out of Montreal, QC, I work from home for a major telecommunications company, and in the evenings, I write, edit, practice music and/or play PC and console games.

Since I first started keeping writing records in '93, I've written 52 books, 55 short stories, 87 two-act radio plays, and a smattering of horrible, horrible poetry, plus a few undocumented reboots of various stories. Of that, six radio plays have been published, and four books (to date) are now in print.

Helix: Blight of Exiles is probably what you're here for, but Judge Not (a true-crime / biography) was my first book published. I'm also mid-way through a four-book historical science fiction series called The Fog of Dockside City. You can find more information on my bibliography page.

I'm a fair-to-middling fan of writing marathons, but my heart belongs to those events that help draw awareness to and raise funds for literacy programs, especially in Canada. I figure it's a great way of increasing readership in the long run, so why not invest? (The fact that increased literacy equals better employment opportunities, higher pay, increased health and safety, and overall improved quality of life is entirely secondary to my purely capitalistic motives.) So any chance I get to write in order to help new readers, I take it.

And check out my other site, www.ninedaywonder.com, featuring guest interviews and free previews by new and emerging authors. Cheers!
